Nonprofit Experience
A passion of ours is working with organizations that align with our desire to “be the good”.
Nonprofits often have strong mission statements, but not a lot of funding to achieve their goals. We pride ourselves in our ability to identify potential projects to move the needle towards productivity, more efficient operations, and assisting with fundraising efforts.
Nonprofit companies we’ve worked with as an individual volunteer:
Alzheimer’s Association (Quincy, IL, Chapter)
Hope Ranch of Missouri (Sullivan, MO)
Quincy Art Center - Marketing and PR Committee (Quincy, IL)
Quincy Service League (Quincy, IL)
Salvation Army/Kroc Center (Quincy, IL)
Grant-writing
Nonprofits should utilize grants, which are funds provided by government agencies, foundations and corporations that do not need to be repaid. In order to receive grants, there’s a grant-writing process, a persuasive proposal to secure funds for a specific project, program, or organization.
Grant-writing requires:
Research to identify appropriate grant opportunities aligned with project goals.
Development of a proposal clearly outlining the objectives, budget, and expected outcomes of said-project.
Persuasive narrative highlighting the importance of a project, the problem it addresses, and the positive impact.
Alignment of the connection between the funder’s goals and the project.
The importance of compelling storytelling is the key to grant-writing, and we assist nonprofits with this service. Need direction or guidance for finding funds for your nonprofit’s future? Contact us today!
